Cost-confirm dialog before AI translation runs, clearer error states, toolbar language switcher, translatable sidebar labels, and Claude MCP setup on the API tokens page.
AI translation now shows page count, credits, and budget share before every bulk run. The Translations tab has calmer errors, a toolbar language switcher on every tab, and optional sidebar icon labels in site text. API tokens adds copy-paste Connect Claude steps alongside Cursor and VS Code.

Recent translation and agent-setup releases tighten the editor workflow:
Confirm before AI translation spends credits
Every AI-costing translation action — translate everything, remaining pages, stale-only update, full re-translate, single-page re-translate, and retry — now opens a Confirm AI translation dialog first. You see:
Page count and credit cost from the estimate endpoint
Share of remaining credits when your plan has a monthly cap
Approximate token count for scale (billing stays flat per page, not token-based)
Manual draft creation (AI off) stays free and skips the dialog. If the estimate fails, you can still confirm — credits charge per page as the job runs.
Calmer error states in Translations
The Translations tab uses a consistent two-level error component across load failures, job errors, over-budget warnings, and a new Progress updates paused state when polling stops but a background job may still be running. Failed jobs include the job id for support lookup.
Toolbar language switcher
The page language switcher moved from the Pages tab into the top editor toolbar (between the page picker and view-site). Switch or create locale variants from any panel tab.
Translatable sidebar icon labels
Sidebar layouts with icon navigation support an optional label on each item. Labels become tooltips and accessible names, and flow into the site text catalog for translation.
Connect Claude on API tokens
The MCP setup card on Organization → API tokens now includes a Connect Claude section:

Why it matters
Bulk AI translation can touch every page on a site. Showing credits and budget share up front prevents surprise spend. Moving the language switcher to the toolbar matches how creators actually work — they jump between locales while editing layout, styles, or copy, not only from the file tree.Claude has no one-click MCP install today; explicit copy-paste steps on the tokens page reduce setup friction for the most common agent client.
Try it
Open a multilingual site → Translations → enable AI translation.
Add a target language and choose Translate everything — review the confirm dialog, then start.
Use the toolbar language switcher while editing a page in Visual mode.
Open Organization → API tokens → follow Connect Claude if you use Claude for content automation.
