In short
Day 1: pick a template and publish a homepage. Days 2–3: signup form and welcome email. Days 4–5: verify a sending domain and send a campaign. Days 6–7: enable analytics, consent, and track your first CTA click.

Why one week

Most indie creators stall between “signed up” and “sent something.” The gap is usually tool fragmentation — a site builder here, email there, analytics in a third tab. Aveiro keeps sites, audience, and analytics under one organization. This plan uses that connection so each step feeds the next.

Day 1 — Publish a homepage

  • Create a site from a template that matches your goal (portfolio, docs, or marketing landing).
  • Edit the hero and primary CTA in the visual editor.
  • Set title and summary in page settings for SEO and social previews.
  • Publish when the homepage reads clearly on mobile.
You should have a live URL on your Aveiro preview domain (or custom domain if already configured).

Day 2 — Add a signup path

  • Add an Email Signup component to the homepage or a dedicated /newsletter page.
  • Write consent copy that matches what you will actually send.
  • Open Audience → Automation and draft a welcome email for that site — leave it disabled until domain verification is done.
Subscribers from the site list feed the same org-wide audience tools as embed forms and imports.

Day 3 — Verify a sending domain

  • Go to Audience → Domains and add the domain you want to send from.
  • Add SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records at your DNS provider.
  • Use Refresh and check DNS in Aveiro until authentication shows verified.
Do not send campaigns from an unverified domain — deliverability suffers before you have any stats to diagnose.

Day 4 — Enable welcome email

  • Return to Audience → Automation for the site you added signup to.
  • Finish subject and body; toggle Enable welcome email.
  • Submit a test signup on the published page (not editor preview).
Welcome sends count against email credits like campaigns.

Day 5 — First campaign

  • Open Audience → Campaigns and create a broadcast to your site list or a segment.
  • Keep the first send small if the list is new — reputation builds gradually.
  • Review stats after 24 hours: opens, unsubscribes, and link clicks.

Day 6 — Analytics

  • In editor Settings → Analytics, enable visitor tracking for the published site.
  • Mention analytics in your site's privacy policy — tracking is cookieless and anonymous, so no consent banner is shown and every visit is counted.
See platform docs for analytics and privacy details.

Day 7 — Measure intent, not just views

  • Select your main CTA in the editor and set an Analytics event name (e.g. hero_signup).
  • Publish the change.
  • After your campaign or a social push, check Analytics → Events and Live for path + click signal together.
Page views alone will not tell you whether anyone clicked “Get started.”

What to do next

  • Add a second site under the same org if you run a separate project or newsletter brand.
  • Create segments once you have more than one signup source.
  • Read Embed a signup form on any site if part of your audience comes from WordPress or Webflow.
