LinkedIn PDF Carousels — Swipeable Document Posts Without Making a PDF

Tick Publish as PDF carousel in the social editor, or set postType document on a LinkedIn target via API or MCP. Aveiro composes your slides into a multi-page PDF at publish time — caption, first comment, and carousel title included.

In short
LinkedIn carousels are document posts — one multi-page PDF the feed paginates into swipeable slides. Attach image slides in order, enable PDF carousel for LinkedIn, and Aveiro composes the document at publish. Other targets still get the same slides as images.

What we shipped

Multi-aspect AI media and direct uploads made it easy to build slide decks. This release closes the LinkedIn gap: the format that reliably outreaches a plain image post there, without exporting a PDF yourself.

Dashboard editor

In Dashboard → Social, attach slides like any other carousel. Under the LinkedIn account, tick Publish as PDF carousel. A carousel title field appears — the headline LinkedIn shows above the slides. Leave it blank and the first line of the LinkedIn caption is used. The caption and first comment publish exactly as on a feed post. Every other target still receives the same slides as images, so one draft can go out as a LinkedIn carousel, an Instagram carousel, and an X post from a single deck.

API and MCP

Set postType: "document" on the LinkedIn target. Attach slides via mediaAssignments in sortOrder. Optional platformTitles.linkedin (max 400 chars) sets the headline above the slides.

The MCP tools aveiro_social_create_draft and aveiro_social_update_draft accept the same fields.

Media picker refresh

The social post editor now shows carousel slides in a swiper — reorder, assign per-platform crops, and toggle PDF carousel per LinkedIn account without leaving the slide view.

What to know before you publish

  • The 10-image cap does not apply — slides become pages of one document (up to 60 media assignments; LinkedIn's own ceiling is 300 pages).
  • Give the deck one aspect ratio (1:1 or 4:5 read best). A slide of a different shape is letterboxed, never cropped.
  • Video cannot be a slide — approval refuses the post and names the target to fix.

Try it

  • Open Dashboard → Social and expand a draft with two or more image slides.
  • Target a LinkedIn account and tick Publish as PDF carousel.
  • Add a carousel title, or leave it blank to use the first line of the LinkedIn caption.
  • Submit for review and approve — at publish, Aveiro composes the PDF and sends it as a LinkedIn document post.
For agents: create a draft with postType: "document" on the LinkedIn target and slides in mediaAssignments.
