In short
Enable Social publishing under Organization → Features, connect Instagram or Threads on Dashboard → Social, compose posts with per-platform captions and media, approve with a schedule, and Aveiro publishes through Chirio. Human approval is required — agents can draft, not post.

What we shipped

Creators and teams can now run a human-in-the-loop social pipeline inside Aveiro — separate from the site editor and from email campaigns.

Social dashboard section

A new Social item appears in the organization sidebar when the feature is enabled. The page includes:
  • Connected accounts — connect Instagram and Threads via Chirio OAuth
  • Compact post list — one row per draft with status, thumbnail, caption preview, platform icons, and schedule
  • Inline editor — expand a row to edit captions, pick target accounts, attach media, and set a publish time
  • Approve / Reject / Post now — review actions that never run without a human click
  • Feedback thread — comments and rejection reasons so teammates and agents know what to fix

Editorial pipeline

Posts follow a clear status lifecycle: draft → needs review → approved → scheduled → published. Rejections keep the row with feedback so you can revise and resubmit. Key guardrails:
  • Proposed schedules from agents are suggestions only — approval sets the real publish time
  • Editing an approved post revokes approval and sends it back for review
  • Background dispatcher checks every minute and publishes due, approved posts through Chirio

Media and captions

  • Base caption plus optional per-platform overrides — Instagram (2,200 chars) and Threads (500 chars) often need different copy
  • Media picker — org library, upload, AI image generation, or register a public URL
  • Per-platform media assignment — assign the best crop per target when needed
Phase 1 supports one image per platform target. Carousels are on the roadmap pending Chirio support.

Why we built it this way

Most teams already have a website in Aveiro and a newsletter in Audience. Social posts were still a separate tab, a separate tool, or a risky “let the agent post” experiment. Aveiro owns the editorial layer — drafts, media, approval, scheduling, feedback. Chirio stays the publish pipe to Meta's APIs. That split means:
  • You review everything in one dashboard before it goes live
  • Agents can propose drafts and schedules without bypassing approval
  • Publishing errors surface per platform with retry, not silent failure
This mirrors how Aveiro already treats site content (draft → publish) and email (compose → send), but adds the approval gate social channels need.

Try it

  • Open Organization → Features and enable Social publishing.
  • Go to Social and connect at least one account.
  • Click New post, write a caption, attach an image, and select target accounts.
  • Submit for review, then Approve with a schedule a few minutes ahead.
  • Watch the row move to Scheduled, then Published — or click Post now to skip the wait.
