Social Update — First Comments Publish With the Post
After approval, Aveiro dispatches per-platform first comments through Chirio right after each target publishes. Comment failures surface in the event timeline.
Social first comments now publish end to end — after approval, the dispatcher posts each platform's resolved comment from the author's account right after the main post goes live.
What we shipped
Aveiro has captured, reviewed, and approved first comments — the link-in-comments pattern — for a while. Until now the dispatcher dropped them at the last step because Chirio had no publish→comment path.Chirio now accepts a per-target firstComment on publish, so Aveiro wires the pass-through through:
firstComment and platformCommentOverrides on drafts resolve per target before dispatch (override when set, else the base comment; blank means none)
The dispatcher sends the resolved comment alongside each platform's caption when a post is approved, scheduled, or posted now
MCP tool descriptions include real comment limits — Instagram 2,200, Threads 500, LinkedIn 1,250 — so agents can size comments per platform
A comment that fails leaves the post itself published, so failures are recorded as their own timeline event (First comment not posted) instead of being folded into the post's publish error.
Who benefits
Reviewers who already use Platform override for per-platform links — comments now go live automatically after approval
Agents drafting with first_comment / platform_comment_overrides — no separate manual step after publish
Teams on the link-in-comments pattern — captions stay clean while URLs land in the first comment
Try it
Open Dashboard → Social, expand a draft, and set a first comment in Platform override
Approve and Post now (or let the scheduler run)
Confirm the comment appears under the live post — expand the row and check per-target first comment tags in Results, or the event timeline for the full audit trail
