Audience → Embed forms builds a widget you paste via script or iframe. Pick a site list, optional segment, theme tokens, and allowed origins — then signups land in the same audience tools as native Aveiro pages.
When embed forms make sense
You do not have to rebuild an entire site on Aveiro to use Aveiro for email.Embed forms fit when:
Your marketing site already lives on WordPress, Webflow, or a custom stack
You want one subscriber list tied to campaigns, segments, and deliverability
You need a form that matches your brand without hacking iframe CSS on a third-party host
Each form writes into a chosen site list in Audience and can auto-apply a segment tag on subscribe.
Create the form
Go to Audience → Embed forms → New embed form. Work through the four tabs:
Site list — pick which site's subscriber pool receives signups. Multi-site orgs often map one embed form per project.Segment — optional but useful when the same list serves multiple funnels (e.g. product-updates vs blog-only).Allowed origins — restrict to known domains (https://example.com or *.example.com) when you control where the snippet is installed. Leave empty only if you accept broader origin behavior during testing.
Paste on an external site
Script snippet — typical for WordPress footer injections, Webflow custom code, or app layouts.
Iframe URL — useful when your host only allows iframe embeds or you want isolation from parent page CSS.
After install, submit a real test signup and confirm the contact appears under Audience → Overview with the expected segment.
Wire up what happens next
An embed form is not the end of the workflow:
Enable a welcome email for that site under Audience → Automation.
Verify a sending domain before welcome or campaigns go out.
Target future campaigns by segment instead of blasting the full list.
Common mistakes
Consent copy that does not match sends — align checkbox text with what you actually email.
No domain verification — welcome emails and campaigns fail silently or hurt reputation.
Duplicate lists in spreadsheets — if signups also go to a CSV, pick one system of record (Aveiro audience).
