Premium Ad Banners Beta — Organization Inventory on Every Site
Book sponsored banners from one org-wide inventory into per-site slots — sidebar, mobile menu, in-page, and footer — with cookieless performance counts.
Ads is a new beta dashboard section. Create inventory once, upload creatives per aspect ratio, book placements across sites, and enable slots per site in the editor. Impressions and clicks are cookieless. Nothing shows until you opt in on each site.
What we shipped
Multi-site creators and publishers can now run sponsored display banners without pasting ad code into every site.
Organization ad manager
A new Ads section in the organization dashboard includes:
Inventory list — one row per ad with active toggle, flight window, and serving status
Creatives — image or video per fixed aspect ratio (4/5, 3/2, 16/9, 3/1), with optional light and dark artwork
Site bookings — enable an ad on a site, then customize which placements it fills
Performance — cookieless impressions, clicks, and CTR for the last 7, 30, or 90 days
Per-site placements
In Editor → Layout → Ads, each site opts in independently:
Master switch and per-placement toggles (sidebar, mobile menu, in-page, in-page wide, footer)
Translatable disclosure label (for example "Sponsored")
Ad component for in-page leaderboard slots inside MDX content
Existing sites stay ad-free until you enable the feature and turn slots on.
Cookieless measurement
Counts reuse Aveiro's privacy-first analytics pipeline — no cookies, bots excluded, Global Privacy Control respected. That keeps ad reporting aligned with how page views already work on published sites.
Why we built it this way
Teams on Aveiro often run several sites under one organization — a marketing site, a blog, a docs hub. Sponsored inventory should be portable: upload once, book everywhere, tune slots per property.
Fixed aspect ratios per placement keep layouts stable (no layout shift while a creative loads). HTTPS-only destinations and opt-in defaults reduce the risk of surprise banners on legacy sites.
